Technically, yes. Because each student and teacher have their own personal device, the game can be played by displaying the teacher's screen over a video conferencing call like Zoom.
However, a huge part of playing Zoinks is the in-person collaboration aspect. Students sit together, share notes, have discussions, and help each other answer the questions. For this reason, we strongly recommend keeping Zoinks as a classroom game to reap the biggest benefits.
Have you found a way to play Zoinks remotely? Would you like us to offer a remote-friendly version in the future? Let us know at hello@wowzalearning.com!
